World Delirium Awareness Day is an annual event that is held to raise awareness about delirium and its impact on patients, families, and healthcare systems. Across Ontario, specialized geriatric services and others are hosting events to help health and social care professionals to learn more about delirium. Ontario Health hasĀ  developed a tool called the Quality Standard (QS) Placemat that is a resource for primary care practitioners. The placemat highlights key elements of care for Delirium and is an evidence-based, quick-reference tool that concisely summarizes key information from the quality standard and includes links to resources and tools.
