Join us at the upcoming Building Capacity for Aging Care in Ontario: 2025 SGS & SMH Leadership Exchange, which will take place on December 5, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Bruyère Health Élisabeth-Bruyère Hospital, Gilberte Paquette Room, 6th level , 75 Bruyère St. Ottawa.
Provincial Geriatrics Leadership Ontario, the Regional Geriatric Program of Eastern Ontario, GPCSO, and the Royal (Geriatric Psychiatry) will host this full-day forum. The day brings together decision-makers and planners as well as clinician leaders from Specialized Geriatric Services (SGS) and Seniors’ Mental Health (SMH) programs. Lived experience advisors are also encouraged to join to learn about leadership in action across our network and to discuss evolving priorities for supporting complex older adult populations.
The event will focus on three key objectives:
- Leadership exchange: Facilitating peer-to-peer networking among colleagues
- Leadership in action: Showcasing leadership-in-action among SGS and SMH in Ontario, across themes of research, education and clinical innovation.
- Leadership opportunities: Exploring leadership opportunities in coordination and outcome measurement to support the complex older adult populations
